I was born and raised in Southern California. I moved to Oregon 4 years ago and haven't looked back. I am a father of a beautiful daughter, Alexis. I am a Navy veteran of six years, a cancer survivor and a career problem solver.
I have been a corporate merchant for a Fortune 50 company and supply chain manager for multiple companies.I have managed large-scale telecommunications projects in Southern California.
When I landed in Oregon, I noticed some areas in the local economy that were ripe for improvement and a need to add diverse core manufacturing sectors that have not been the focus in the recent past. Oregon is rich in natural resources and has great potential for growth.
I plan on promoting commerce and helping our Northwest corner of the nation by re-shoring business that has been sent out to low-cost labor nations. I believe in protecting all Americans against the threats of job loss in light of recent technological innovation and creating legislation that always puts the people ahead of machines.
I will ensure YOUR voice is heard in congress. I am a Republican who wants to be your next representative in the house.
Student Loans are the largest barriers to college education in this country. However, none of my colleagues and competitors are talking about it. Perhaps they earn so much money that it is not an issue. Student loans are part of a broken system. To pay them off you'd need an extra 30% in income. The interest doesn't stop and the "paying" jobs aren't out there in many professions. Why don't we have more enrolled university students? It's all about the money.
Now... Imagine if those same student loans were made interest-free. They may be around for a long while but paying them off is obtainable and have very little impact as far as taxpayer dollars. My plan would make it possible for all outstanding student loans move into the interest-free plan, making it easier for graduates to participate in the relief to millions of students.
It sounds crazy, but greed and a lack of concern is the only reason why it hasn't been fixed. I can fix it and present a bill to congress in my first term. If you're in doubt, show this to a college student who is on the hook for a lifetime of debt!
That's why I am counting on your vote on May 19th!
Prospective college students are being discouraged by the inability to qualify for student loans. I will fight for interest-free student loan programs.
For 30 years, we have been sending our work to other countries, only to have those very goods sold back to us. We need to continue tariffs and repatriate American business until all able job seekers can earn a living wage.
I think we have failed our servicemen and women. We don't make efforts to hire vets, care for them after service-related injuries, and we do little to provide a civilian life after their brave service. I will work hard for our veterans.
You are reading this statement because someone made the conscious decision NOT to terminate your life. I am glad you're here and I am sure you agree that the world is a better place with you in it. I understand medical issues that may result in death of the mother are out of the ordinary and must be addressed by medical professionals on a case-by-case basis. I am Pro-Life.
I stand by the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. I will defend the rights of all gun owners and rights of those legally permitted to carry them.
Opioid addiction and alcohol addiction are growing plagues in Oregon. Most of the major cities are testaments to these addiction problems as tent cities and underbrush encampments become increasingly prevalent. I see this as a local problem and natural extensions of existing programs should be made to curb the issue.
I believe in fair and honest insurance practices in the U.S. Graft and corruption have no place here. I will work to reform insurance and unilateral law in the country.
I believe that legal immigration is a cornerstone of America. I also believe that U.S. taxpayers should be free from the legal issues and financial burden that illegal entry causes. I support the wall because previous administrations have failed at maintaining a secure border. I have seen the problem first- hand where citizens face numerous threats.
No one is above the law, even dreamers. I believe sanctions should be placed on cities and states that intentionally violate federal law by sheltering the lawless.
